Who We Are

Messiah Christian Academy was founded in August of 2007. Our school is an outreach ministry of Church of the Messiah, a non-denominational church located in the Hickory Flat area of Canton, Georgia. Our school opened with 14 students in 2007 and now three years later has almost 80.  The parents of MCA students are very active partners with the school in their children’s education.  MCA class offerings range from preschool instruction starting at 2 years old and go to elementary education in First Grade. Our staff is comprised of education degreed teachers and qualified classroom assistants who instruct with developmentally appropriate curriculum. We follow Georgia Performance Standards for curriculum in both Kindergarten and First Grade.

MCA is a private christian school located in Canton, Georgia. We offer programs for 2 and 3 Year olds, Pre-K 4's, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten as well as First Grade. Our kindergarten program is one of the most affordable compared to the bigger private schools in the area.

We are committed to the education and enrichment of the whole child. We accomplish this by using a very experienced professional staff and education degreed teachers. We use an academic enrichment pogram and large stimulating classrooms with a low teacher to student ratio to maximize your child's learning experience. We foster a partnership in education wtih families and maintain a developmental approach to education. Our school is located on the campus of CHURCH OF THE MESSIAH on 26 beautiful acres.
